SAM STARNES THOMAS
was born in Collins, Mississippi, on May 12, 1960. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he obtained his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, in 1982. He then attended law school at the University of Mississippi, obtaining his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, in 1985. Mr. Thomas was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1985. RICHARD D. UNDERWOOD
was born in Quitman, Mississippi on May 18, 1963. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he obtained his B.S. degree in 1985 with honors. He then attended law school at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, College of Law, where he earned his J.D. degree, with honors, in 1989. Mr. Underwood is licensed to practice law in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Mr. Underwood is one of the few attorneys in Tennessee that has earned the title of "Civil Trial Specialist" from the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and has been rated "AV" (the highest rating) by Martindale Hubbell Legal Directory.
